For those of you who were able to travel to Spring Training/your team‘s Spring Breakout game, did you have to lobby for yourself to go? Or did you get “assigned” to travel? If you did have to lobby, what are some points you’ve used to get yourself the trip?

I’d really like to get involved, but unfortunately it does not seem that the same sentiment is there for folks in my organization!

Working off the idea that game notes will now supplement the Research-compiled game notes, my template for the 2025 season is (because Lansing doesn’t have a media guide that incorporates player bios):

Page 1 – top stories entering the game | team record when… (extra-innings W-L, leading after 6/7/8 W-L, etc.)
Page 2, on the back of Page 1 – Today in franchise history / Lugnuts in the Majors / other misc. fun notes
Page 3 – Starting pitcher bio/career stats | Reliever bios
Page 4 – Hitter hitting streaks/on-base streaks (since I did not see that in the Research game notes)

This separate category was created after seeing Emma Tiedemann's open ask about which headsets to purchase for their upcoming season. We love our Sennheiser HMD 27s in Lansing, though I know that they're expensive and are no longer produced by Sennheiser.

The "Demo Critiques" category originated as a specific request from New Hampshire's Chris Jared, and a good one. It was such a good request in fact, that it created... this whole website and forum. Powerful stuff.

Post a link to your demo (an unlisted YouTube link) for instance and your contact info, thereby allowing colleagues to give you a listen and write you back privately with their thoughts. It's another way of us helping each other out.
